What are the conditions of participation in the European Forum for New Ideas (EFNI) 2017?

The conditions of participation in the EFNI are determined in the EFNI Regulations  and EFNI 2017 Fee Schedule.

What does the registration process look like and what information is required to complete it?

The EFNI 2017 registration process is carried out in two stages. The first stage involves submitting personal data, contact data and the payer’s data. You can also book a hotel room for the duration of the Forum (subject to availability of hotel rooms). The second stage of the registration process requires submitting a photo of the participant (max. 50kB, 3×4 aspect ratio) as well as a short participant’s biographical note (300-400 characters).

Can one book a hotel room and transport through the organiser?

Conference Participants should make their own transport arrangements. However, the registration system allows you to book a room at one of the hotels cooperating with the organiser. The number of rooms is limited, so applications will be handled on the first come first serve basis: the sooner you submit your data and register for the EFNI 2017, the more likely you are to be served. The prices of hotel rooms depend on the date you register for the Forum.

What does the accreditation fee cover?

As regards EFNI 2017 participants, the accreditation fee covers:

– participation in all events of the official EFNI programme
– participation in the EFNI Opening Gala & official dinner on 27 September 2017
– participation in the EFNI Closing Gala & official dinner on 29 September 2017
– lunch on 28 and 29 September and dinner on 28 September 2017
– package of conference materials

As regards accompanying persons, the accreditation fee (in the case of the 3-day package) covers:

– participation in the EFNI Opening Gala & official dinner on 27 September 2017
– participation in the EFNI Closing Gala & official dinner on 29 September 2017
– lunch on 28 and 29 September and dinner on 28 September 2017

It is also possible to buy accreditation for an accompanying person only for the participation in the EFNI Closing Gala & official dinner on 29 September 2017.

Accreditation fees do not cover accommodation or transport costs in any of the aforementioned cases.

How can you change Participant’s data

You can change or add more data, as well as your photo and biographical note, once you have signed into the Participant’s profile. The Participant’s login and password are emailed to his/her email address submitted at the preliminary registration stage.

Should it become necessary to change your data: first name, surname, accreditation type, please contact the EFNI office.

After 31 August 2017, changing a Participant’s name or surname will require a payment of additional fee of PLN 100 + VAT. If such change is to be made during the Conference, the fee amount will be PLN 500 + VAT.

Can I cancel my participation in the Conference?

You can cancel your participation in the Conference, though it may require paying an additional fee as per information below:

– cancelling participation before 31 July 2017 – refund of the full accreditation fee
– cancelling participation by 31 August 2017 – refund of 50% of the accreditation fee
– cancelling participation from 1 September 2017 – no refund of the accreditation fee
